EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it!!
It's that time of year once again. I'm talking about Polish Fest, and once again I can say all that hard work paid off!

Our young Falcons were AWESOME! They performed on the children's stage on Saturday, June 20th, 2009. The line up went as follows:
Witmy
Nie Ziemi
Zosha and the Cherry Tree
Amanda's Song
Poses (Volleyball) - Concept, Choreographed and directed by Ms. Sue
Tumbling
Double Stunts - Concept, Choreographed and directed by Ms. Sue
Gloves & Hat Routine - Concept, Choreographed and directed by Ms. Sue & Her Class
Mini Tram
All of our young Falcons did an outstanding job. I am extremely honored and proud to be one of their coaches. A big THANK YOU to our class and parents for coming to all the extra practices at my house to pull this off... and it worked! They looked great!
You made me proud my young Falcons and I thank you.
Look out for us next year in Washington D.C., we're on a roll!
Stand tall and be proud, you are a Falcon! I know I am!

Polish Name Days

Yesterday 2012-05-18 : Eryka Feliksa Today 2012-05-19 : Piotra Iwa Tomorrow 2012-05-20 : Aleksandra Bazylego ........In Poland, name days (Polish: imieniny) are widely celebrated, & most calendars contain the names celebrated each day. Celebrations in Poland traditionally involve a gathering of friends & family at the celebrant's home at the dinner table, followed by drinking and socializing, similarly to birthday celebrations. The song "Sto lat" is sometimes sung. Children, and often adults too, receive presents, just like on their birthday.
