Hi! I want to begin when I was a young Falcon (back in the 70's).

It was all about standing proud and being the best that you can be. Yea, we weren't the Olympics but boy we had lots of fun!

It was about meeting new friends, going to new places you might not have with your own family. Practice every Monday night back then, getting the beam routine down pat, knowing the floor routine like the back of your hand, dancing the dance routine in your sleep. Hah! Those were the days. If you were a Falcon back in the day, you know what I'm talking about.

sue_kidsNow it's the next generations turn to have all the fun. I'm talking about my own children. I have two daughters in the Falcons now. They have been in the gym class since they were five. Tiny Tots first, then Juniors to the present. They are having all the fun I use to have, and keeping in touch with their heritage. Stand proud! You're a Polish Falcon and it's fun!

Czolem,

Sue Zareczny

Polish Name Days

Yesterday 2012-02-06 : Doroty Bogdana Pawla Today 2012-02-07 : Ryszarda Teodora Tomorrow 2012-02-08 : Hieronima Sebastiana ........In Poland, name days (Polish: imieniny) are widely celebrated, & most calendars contain the names celebrated each day. Celebrations in Poland traditionally involve a gathering of friends & family at the celebrant's home at the dinner table, followed by drinking and socializing, similarly to birthday celebrations. The song "Sto lat" is sometimes sung. Children, and often adults too, receive presents, just like on their birthday.
