Chris Borek

I have been a member since 1990, but have done volun- teer work with the Adult Dance group and chaperoned with the Youth group five years before as an involved parent since my daughter was a student in the Youth Gym Class.

Since I have become a member I have steadily been active and involved every month with various activities to ready our Nest for upcoming events.

Currently I am a Board Director and the Financial Youth Director.

It is a great pleasure to be a part of such a great organization and it is a pleasure to be able to work with all the variety of people that make it all work out.

Celebrations in Poland traditionally involve a gathering of friends & family at the celebrant's home at the dinner table, followed by drinking and socializing, similarly to birthday celebrations.The song "Sto lat" is sometimes sung. Children, and often adults too, receive presents, just like on their birthday.
